The perfect partner for tdSearch :)
I use Powermarks as my local/pc database/links managaer, it works great with tdSearch, as it is meant to be one big searchable links collection, as is tdsearch, as opposed to categorized link management. I have other software where I can categorize links, like URL Base and Linkman, but I find Powermarks works best, and fastest.
See: http://www.kaylon.com/power.html
You can export your link collection to a CSV file, then use phpMyAdmin to insert that list into a mysql database
